BREAD PUDDING WITH BOURBON SAUCE

BOURBON BREAD PUDDING WITH BOURBON SAUCE 1 loaf Texas Toast, cubed         4 eggs        1 3/4 cups sugar        3 cups milk       1/2 tsp. salt      1/2 cup raisins       1/2 cup bourbon Soak raisin in bourbon for 20 min.  Mix eggs, sugar, milk and salt together in large bowl.  Add bread cubes, bourbon and raisins.Mix well and pour into greased baking pan.  Bake 35 min. at 350 F.  Drizzle with warm bourbon sauce. BOURBON SAUCE 1 cup sugar         1/2 cup light corn syrup          1/2 cup butter           1/2 cup bourbon Add all ingredients in a medium saucepan.  Simmer 2 min.
