The Cherokee Beach House is a charming 2 story Mediterranean theme cedar shingle house located at the end of a quiet street 1 block from Selah Inn. 80 feet of private, low-bank waterfront offers one of the best swimming beaches on Hood Canal. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway or fun family vacation! One mile away is a public boat launch. A canoe is available on-site. Walk to Belfair State Park, gather oysters and clams off our beach and sit by the large firepit and roast s’mores in the moonlight.
The home has a large kitchen with granite slab island, gas cook-top, double wall ovens, dishwasher, pantry and laundry room. The dining area has a trestle table that seats 8. A beautiful river rock fireplace centers the Living Room. There is an unobstructed view of the water and 2 double doors opening onto the deck that spans the entire house-front. A full bathroom and family room with Murphy bed provide downstairs sleeping area.
The 2nd floor master bedroom has a king bed, bathroom with jetted tub, shower, double sinks, and adjoining sitting room. A 2nd bedroom has a single bunk, a trundle bed and bathroom with shower. An apartment above the unattached garage has a king bed, bathroom with shower and kitchenette available for an additional fee.
Privacy abounds, with a State Fisheries lot to the left and a Cherokee Beach Community lot for owners only to the right.
